Creative Public Restroom Graffiti.

'Notes from the Stall' is a website that shows there is more to do in public restrooms than just your 'business'. Have Sharpie, will deface. Some funny shit here...pun intended.

Laugh til you pee.

A Bacon Tuxedo?!

No, not really. This is just a gag gift-box. Put your real gift inside this empty box that trumpets that the contents are a suit made of meat. Then watch the presumed hilarity ensue. Though a fictional product, I like the way these guys think.

No, not a real meat suit.

Butchers Are Cool...and So Are Bacon-Filled Hot-Dogs

The new breed of butcher is young, cool, gives classes, has the freshest meats and dig what they are doing. Leading this wave is '4505 Meats' in San Francisco. Their pork sausage, uncured hot dogs (filled w/BACON!), and Chicharrones (basically, Mexican pork candy) are awesome, plus their t-shirts (one design pictured on the left) and posters are just as good. I may have to plan an SF trip. Check them out. Meat rocks!

Bacon May Have 'Jumped the Shark' On This One.

Well, not really. Any experimentation is going to come up with good and bad, even in bacon's case. The jury is out on Jones' Bacon Soda, since it technically isn't even out yet. Jones is infamous for their wacky flavors, which have included Turkey & Gravy as well as Bubblegum, so Bacon - or the pictured Pizza - should come as no shock. Update to follow on this one.

Tastes like b'fast in a bottle.

Watch Dolph Lundgren's Head Explode.

If all commercials were this cool, nobody would fast-forward through them anymore. Luckily we have the Bud Lights, Old Spices, and now, the Nortons of the world to entertain us. Just goes to show that everything, even anti-virus software, is better with guns, explosions...and unicorns. Enjoy!

Unicorn kicks some ass!

My Childhood Dream Comes True.

Cereal marshmallows? Without the cereal? Why no one thought of this before is beyond. Well, I'm sure people have thought of it, but no Mom in her right mind would buy it. Luckily Mom doesn't have (as much) input anymore. So gimme some Lucky Charms...minus the Lucky!

Let the tooth decay commence!

Erin Andrews's Ass Should Have Its Own Show.

I realized just now that I have had nary a rumor of a babe (of of my core B's) on my blog. That changes right now, and who better christen the blog than Erin Andrews? EA (as she is known on the web) has joined ESPN's College Gameday show and will be getting tons of face time now that football season is here. I could go on and on about her merits, but will let the proverbial picture tell a thousand words. Enjoy!

A Cake, Made of Meat = Meat Cake! Brilliant!

This culinary masterpiece got its inspiration from a groom who wanted to put his own spin on the traditional wedding cake. Ground beef, mashed potatoes, ketchup. All the manliest of ingredients. The site has a blow-by-blow, picture-by-picture recipe of the whole glorious assembly. This could catch on.

Mmmmmmmm, meat cake.

Mike Rowe Works.

Another semi-serious post (what is up w/that?). Mike Rowe, the voice of several commercials, including Ford, and the host of 'Dirty Jobs' on Discovery Channel, has taken up the cause of the working man and infrastructure repair in the US. Among his goals are awareness of the shortage of skilled workers, our crumbling bridges, roads, etc, the stigma often associated with the trades, and the lack of opportunities for training in schools. The site has multiple resources for job seekers and those looking for a change in career. Also, all the Mike you can stand; with a blog, videos, bio, and more.

7 Days in September.

On a serious note - which is unusual, I know - Saturday is the 9th anniversary of 9/11. An old friend of mine, Steve Rosenbaum, directed an amazing documentary called "7 Days in September" which is culled from many different sources and captures the chaotic aftermath of that fateful event. It has been broadcast many times, and is on DVD, but it's now available on HULU for free. Can't recommend it enough.

As Promised: Bacon Cupcakes!

Bacon cupcake recipes are rampant on the web, but Tea & Cakes, a Denver bakery, has what appears to be the most awesome (pic in below post). According to the site Delish, the owners brainstormed for days and used as their recipe inspiration their favorite b'fast: "chocolate chip pancakes, swimming in a pool of maple syrup, with a side of crisp bacon."
I think they succeeded. Enjoy.

And to go one better, here is a recipe for cupcakes with actual bacon in the batter! Photos of each delicious step are included. Wow!

Bonus: Bacon Porn!

Photo: Brian Wood

This is called a 'tease'. The related post will follow tomorrow. See ya then!

There Really ARE Bad Librarians.

What happens when a bored librarian starts stacking kid's books and creating naughty stories with the titles? A great blog ensues, that's what! Read through some of these and I dare you not to laugh out loud.

I always knew kid's books had porn potential.

Chocolate-covered Bacon Ice Cream? This is NOT a Dream.

If you are ever strolling down the boardwalk in Rehoboth, DE keep an eye out for 'The Ice Cream Store'. Amongst the mother-lode of odd sounding flavors (Blue Moon, Better than Sex, Honey Fig, Motor Oil, Flying Elvis, etc.) you will find Chocolate-covered Bacon. Wow. The pictured flavor is the 'plain' Bacon. Seems that the elusive Chocolate-covered Bacon is only made occasionally, and gets snapped up quickly. Well, d'uh.

Who Doesn't Like Mugshots?

Nothing makes you feel better about yourself than checking the police blotter in the morning paper and seeing that dick from high school who got popped for DUI. This site takes it to the next level by showing a massive variety of mugshots from the famous, to the infamous, and everybody in between. Not much on the details, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy.

The 'Spaceman' is Pitching...at Age 63.

Good for him, though being a Yankee fan, I always hated him. Had some 'encounters' with the guy when I was doing my thing in VT a few years back. He definitely has a screw (or several) loose. It's appropriate that Woody Harrelson has optioned the movie rights for his life story, based on one of his many juicy quotes...
"The other day they asked me about mandatory drug testing. I said I believed in drug testing a long time ago. All through the 60's I tested everything."

The Spaceman Lands.

Bacon App for Droid Phones. It Sizzles!!

Want the sound of sizzling bacon with you all the time? D'uh, who doesn't?! This new Droid phone app puts the sight and sounds of cooking bacon right on your screen as wallpaper. I haven't tried it, being an iPhone guy, but it looks cool.

Happy Labor Day!

Did you know that Labor Day's origins are in Canada? And that the issue at the forefront of the Great White Northerner's protests was the 58-hour workweek? Wimps.
A newspaper account of the first Labor Day festivities noted; "...speeches, a picnic, an abundance of cigars and, lager beer kegs... mounted in every conceivable place." My kind of holiday! Enjoy the last gasp of summer with a beer of your own.

Desperately Awaiting the Start to Football Season.

Are you already tired of college football, with all the 65-3 blowouts and endless scores (East Tennessee A&T vs Montana Tech and Optometry College) on SportsCenter? The NFL can't start soon enough, but in lieu of that, feast your eyes on the next best thing...the Lingerie Football League! You can thank me later.

Football, but more refined...and with hot chicks.

Bacon Chocolate Bars...and More!

A great site for chocolate, with a bacon kick. They also have a chocolate/bacon pancake mix that looks like it would rock. Enjoy!
